Dr. Bruce Weinstein, The Ethics Guy®, is one of America’s top thought leaders in ethics, character, and leadership. Trust Across America selected Bruce as a 2017 Top Thought Leader in Trust, and he writes two regular features for Forbes magazine online: Profiles in High-Character Leadership (weekly) and The High-Character CEO of the Month (monthly).
Bruce has discussed ethical issues in business and the news on NBC’s Today, ABC’s Good Morning America, CNBC’s Fast Money and Power Lunch, Fox News Channel’s Fox and Friends, and a wide range of programs on CNN. In addition to his regular contributors to Forbes, Bruce’s writings on ethics and character have appeared in The New York Times, Bloomberg Business, Investor’s Business Daily, Huffington Post Business, USA Today, and the in-flight magazines of many airlines.
Bruce received his BA in philosophy from Swarthmore College and an MA and PhD in philosophy with a concentration in bioethics from Georgetown University and the Kennedy Institute of Ethics. The W. K. Kellogg Foundation in Battle Creek, Michigan awarded Bruce a National Fellowship in leadership development.
He enjoys playing drums, his favorite film is The Godfather, and he volunteers each week at the Central Park Conservancy.
Rochelle Rice, CSP, AS, Chief Operating Officer
Rochelle Rice is the only woman in the world to hold both the Accredited Speaker (AS) designation from Toastmasters International and the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation from the National Speakers Association. A former professional jazz dancer, her passion for the Institute stems from a desire to shift the current culture to one that embraces the ten crucial qualities of high-character people as outlined in The Good Ones.
Rochelle regularly appears as a guest on radio talk shows and has appeared Fox News, ABC World News Tonight and the CBS Early Show. Her program has been featured in the New York Times, the LA Times, Family Circle and Fit Magazine. She serves on the Board of the National Speakers Association and is the NYC Dance Coordinator for the UMASS Amherst NYPOP Program.
Rochelle loves gardening, biking and joining organizations. She has her motorcycle license and a love for Harley Davidson apparel. She believes no one should ever feel left out or have the feeling they are not part of the ‘in’ crowd. Rochelle makes it a personal mission to create a sense of community and inclusion with everything she does – and highlights courage, fairness and gratitude in her work.

Joel is a 25+ year veteran of the venture capital, private equity, and Hedge Fund world. He is a professional investor who has been a principal in over 30 syndicated real estate or entrepreneurial transactions in addition to advising on dozens more. As CEO of the Bullseye Capital Fund and founder of the National Association of Syndicators, Joel is a nationally recognized expert in Private Placements, Reg D Offerings, Operating Agreements, deal structure, valuations, tax issues and capital raising approaches with both accredited and non-accredited Investors.
A professional speaker, Joel addresses audiences from Silicon Valley venture firms to Wall Street bankers on matters of capital formation and most recently, on Investment CrowdFunding. Twice each year, Joel hosts and headlines the standard-setting Real Estate Syndication and Hedge Fund Symposium program, educating professional investors on organizing and running investment pools. Through his program, Joel has taught thousands of real estate brokers, CPAs, attorneys, and investors about raising capital and best practices for structuring group investments.
